Mission:
As ISO Expert, you will join our Information Security Office Team, reporting directly to the Head of ISO.
It concerns a temporary contract of 1 year. Please note that applications from freelancers, independent contractors, and consultants are not eligible for this position.
What the Key Tasks Look Like:
As Risk and Compliance Specialist (2nd line of defence), you are responsible for supporting the assessment of the organization’s Information Security Management (ISM) framework. Your mission is to assess our own- and third-party risks and safeguards for the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets across ERGO Insurance and DKV Belgium, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements (e.g. DORA, GDPR), ERGO Group standards, and business objectives.
You collaborate closely with IT, Risk Management, DPO, and other stakeholders to assess and embed security into both daily operations and strategic initiatives.
- Risk & Compliance: Support risk and third party security assessments and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and internal standards.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Track the effectiveness of security controls and report on risks, incidents, and emerging threats to senior management.
Required Skills and Competences:
Background
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience within IT, Audit or related field.
- Solid knowledge of ISO/IEC 2700x standards, DORA (encryption, IT Ops), supplier security assessment.
- Experience conducting internal ISO audits and supporting audit readiness.
- Fluent in English and Dutch and/or French, both written and spoken.
